Rob: you could fill quite a few fruit baskets! I doubt that the site is truly hurting the artists. Most likely, people dl what they wouldn't have bought.

But once you have bitten from the apple--I mean Peach-- . . . .

Me as well - send first link home from work so could hop right on. Hey, GOP, do you know whether the Fox or Agora shows are available? Was at both; buddy of mine actually in pic on back of London Calling ... few things ever lived up to the clash live.

Well to be absolutely honest, I think I've progressed from filling baskets; a big old digital 16-wheeler is what's needed to roll this rich harvest down the highway. And I just can't help strolling round the orchard regularly to see what else is ripening on the trees that I might have missed last time I looked.

So, thank you for the Clash link - guess I'll have to hire another truck soon...

One genuinely good thing: I'm listening to music and artists I would never have put in the basket at Best Buys.

Dire: should I take the link off? I would imagine that almost all of these bands have lawyers and Indian scouts who seek this out with a simple google.

Your point regarding the opportunity to listen to music you might otherwise not have the chance to is a good one. Even the totally legit LMA has been a fine source of new listening material for me since I first came across it a few years ago.

And we haven't mention YouTube. Feast yourself on this:
